Our TEAM

In GN's canteen, Geir Sveinsson is the Head Chef, and is thus responsible for the daily operation of the canteen. Geir and her team's ambition is to create a canteen where you can relax and socialize, eat a delicious lunch and return to work with renewed energy. 
We are passionate about sustainability, ecology and food waste - a way of thinking that permeates all work routines in our kitchen.

Of course, this places great demands on the creativity of a kitchen, all ingredients must be fully utilized, and leftovers are often frozen for recycling purpose in other dishes. However, by constantly thinking in terms of recycling and sustainability, we believe that we actually become more creative in our cooking.

If you have questions regarding the food (e.g., for allergens), you are always more than welcome to contact the kitchen.

Please note that once you have ordered items, the amount will not be deducted from your account until the item has been picked up at the canteen.

Our Food Philosophy

We take pride in using fresh seasonal products. We are aware of food waste on our team.
 
The canteen is open from 07.30 to 14.45 Monday to Thursday and Friday from 07.30 to 14.40.
 
Here, you can buy your breakfast daily and enjoy your lunch. The canteen also offers a variety of delicacies and ideas for gift baskets.
 
The breakfast is available from 07.30 to 10.00 and lunch from 11.30 to 13.00.
